Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately we do not allow pets to stay at Hakka Guest house. The property is not suitable for pets as the property is not fully fenced and backs on to 46 acres of crown reserve land.

What are your check out and check in times?

We hate an early check out so we do things a little differently! Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 5pm. Which means when you book for the weekend you actually get to enjoy the full weekend.

For short stays we only take bookings on Friday-Sunday and Monday-Wednesday. Which allows us to have a standard 5pm check out time and still ensure the house is cleaned to perfection before you arrive.

Can I book through AIRBNB, Booking.com etc?

We only accept direct bookings through our website. Currently, Hakka Guest House is not listed on any 3rd party platforms. This is simply to make your stay as cost effective as possible. No platform fees = a cheaper stay.

Can i bring my children to hakka guest house?

Children are of course welcome at Hakka Guesthouse. However we do ask that children are supervised in the house. Some of our homes beautiful features such as the spiral staircase and sunken-lounge may be a bit hazardous for energetic little ones.
