What is provided

• A five day stay at Hakka Guesthouse providing plenty of space to work, relax and be inspired by the natural environment. This includes exclusive use of Hakka Guesthouse and the one-acre property.

• A two-month exhibition of work in Hakka Guesthouse

• We take no commission on artwork sold during your exhibition period.

• For group applications each artist will have their own bedroom, shared bathrooms (2 people/ bathroom), and shared kitchen and living spaces.

What we don’t provide

• Materials

• Transport

• Stipends

• Meals or food

Who can apply?

• We will be accepting applications for visual artists very soon! Please sign up to our mailing list so we can let you know when applications open.

• We will also consider group residencies applications for groups of up to four artists.

• At this time we are not accepting applications for sculpture, ceramics, dance, performance art, or writing but we hope to in the future so please check back!

• A short personal statement or artist bio 150 words or less.

• Your exhibition history (we still accept applications if you have not exhibited work in the past).

• What medium are you currently working in.

• Five examples of your work.
